Cycle calendar for iPhone and Android

Hi, I'm Luma

I'll help you understand your cycle: when your period is due, where that sudden energy comes from, and why some days feel like a lot.

Everything you tell me stays between us.

Your first prediction in half a minute

This is how LumaSync starts. Answer Luma’s three questions and the same engine that runs in the app will calculate your prediction.

Step 1 of 3

When did your last period start?

I calculate in your browser. Nothing leaves this page and nothing is saved.

Today screen

One step ahead of your period

The most important number sits in the middle: how many days until your period. Below it, the date and an honest range, because cycles naturally vary, so a good prediction is a range, not a single day.

  1. 1

    Days until your period

The same number waits on your home screen widget, so you do not even have to open the app.

  2. 2

    An honest range

The more regular your cycles, the narrower the range. It can be wider at the start.

  3. 3

Where does this date come from?

One tap shows how many cycles the prediction is based on, how long they lasted on average and how much they varied.

  4. 4

    Cycle phase

What is happening in your body today, in plain words and without scaremongering.

Insights and tips

Your rhythm, your normal

Luma spots patterns that are easy to miss. She only compares you with you: your cycles and your average, with no tables of what is “normal”.

Reminders and widget

Luma reminds you in time

Before your period, on its expected first and last day, for your daily log, your pill and other medication, weighing and drinking water. Your phone schedules them, not our server.

Discreet mode

On by default. Your lock screen then only shows “You have a new reminder”. Switch it off to see the details.

WidgetYour ring and the number of days on the home screen. In discreet mode it says “Your rhythm” instead of mentioning your period.

Privacy

Everything stays between us

Your cycle is your business. LumaSync stores dates, symptoms and notes on your phone, encrypted, and without an account it sends them nowhere. We have no access to your cycle data and we never sell it.

Today screen in the LumaSync dark theme

Dark theme like an evening by candlelight

  • Encrypted on your phone

Every entry is encrypted with AES-256-GCM. The key sits in your phone’s secure storage, available only on that device.

  • Account optional

Want your entries on several phones? Sign in with Apple or Google. The backup is encrypted on your phone with a key we do not know, and the account does not know your name or email address.

  • No ads, no tracking

No ads and no third party advertising or analytics tools.

  • App lock

With biometrics or your phone passcode, for when someone else picks it up.

  • Discreet mode

Notifications without details and a widget that never mentions your period.

  • Your data, your call

Export to a JSON or CSV file at any time, and delete all your data with one button.

This website too: no cookies, no analytics and no third party scripts. Even the fonts come from our own server.

For every stage

One app, four modes

Switch at any time and Luma adjusts your predictions and reminders.

  • Cycle tracking

Period prediction, daily log, insights and reminders.

  • Trying to conceive

Log ovulation tests, temperature and cervical mucus, with reminders of your likely fertile days.

  • Pregnancy

The week of pregnancy and an approximate due date instead of a period prediction. After pregnancy, predictions return from your first period.

  • Perimenopause

Predictions with a wider margin, because cycles change.

Breastfeeding, living with PCOS or recently stopped hormonal pills? Mark it in your cycle settings and the prediction becomes more careful.

Share your cycle with someone close

Someone close will see your cycle day, phase and period prediction, and you decide whether they also see your mood and symptoms. The data is encrypted, so we cannot see it.

  • No account needed on their side: the link you send them is enough. It works for 48 hours and only once.
  • They will not see your log or notes. They only see what you choose here.
  • You can stop sharing at any time with one button.

A report for your doctor

Your cycles and symptoms from the last year in a PDF to show your doctor. It is created on your phone, without your notes, and you decide who gets it.

Apple Health and Health Connect

If you turn it on, LumaSync saves your period and measurements in your phone’s health app and brings in data from other apps.

Switch without regrets

Already have a history in another app? LumaSync reads your periods from a Flo data file and your entries from a drip CSV file.

English, Polish and Ukrainian. Light and dark theme, following your system or your choice.

FAQ

Questions and honest answers

Including the ones where the honest answer is “no”.

Will LumaSync tell me the exact day my period starts?

No. It shows the most likely date and a range, for example ±2 days, and explains where it comes from. Cycles naturally vary, so a prediction to the day would be a promise nobody can keep.

Can I rely on LumaSync to avoid pregnancy?

No. LumaSync is not a method of contraception and not a diagnostic tool. It is a calendar that helps you understand your cycle.

Do I need an account?

No. Everything works without one. An account with Apple or Google helps when you want the same entries on several phones or want to share your cycle with someone close.

Do my entries end up on your server?

Without an account, no. With an account, only a backup encrypted on your phone with a key we do not know goes there, so we cannot read it.

Are there ads or paid features?

There are no ads. Today there are no payments in the app either. The cycle calendar, period prediction, reminders, export and data deletion in LumaSync are free and ad free.

Does LumaSync work offline?

Yes. The calendar, daily log, predictions and reminders work without a connection. You only need the internet for Library articles and for your account.

Can I bring my entries from another app?

Yes. LumaSync reads your periods from a Flo data file and your entries from a drip CSV file. LumaSync’s own JSON export moves everything to a new phone.

Is there an iPad or desktop version?

No. LumaSync runs on iPhone and on Android phones with Android 8 or later. This website only introduces it.

Will LumaSync replace seeing a doctor?

No. But it can make the visit easier: show your doctor the PDF report with your cycles and symptoms from the last year. If something worries you, talk to a doctor or a midwife.

Where is LumaSync available and in which languages?

In the 27 countries of the European Union, in English, Polish and Ukrainian.

How do I delete my data?

You can delete all your data in the app settings. You can delete your account and its cloud backup in the app or on the account deletion page.

Who is behind LumaSync?

Axperts Dariusz Zalewski from Szczecin, Poland. Write to us at biuro@axperts.pl.
